1. You're Just Not Training That Hard
Let’s be honest—most people think they’re training hard, but they’re not even close to their limit.
Pushing close to failure, using proper intensity, and progressively overloading your lifts isn’t optional—it’s the foundation of muscle growth. If you’re stopping your sets when they start to feel tough, not tracking your weights, or skipping the big compound lifts, you’re not sending your body the message to grow.
Fix it: Train with intent. Track your lifts. Push close to failure (especially on your last sets), and aim to beat your numbers weekly.
2. You’re Not Eating Enough to Grow
Muscle is expensive for your body to build—it needs surplus fuel. If you’re undereating or trying to “stay lean” while gaining size, you’re working against yourself.
